1. Acceptance

By installing or using the Stash browser extension ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

2. What the Service does

Stash helps you collect and add sources to NotebookLM more easily. It runs in your browser and operates on pages you choose.

3. Not affiliated with Google or NotebookLM

Stash is an independent tool. It is not created, endorsed, or sponsored by Google or NotebookLM. "NotebookLM" and "Google" are trademarks of their respective owners. Your use of NotebookLM remains subject to Google's own terms and policies, and you are responsible for complying with them when using this Service alongside their products.

4. Who can use the Service

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age of digital consent where you live if that's older, to use the Service. By using it, you confirm you meet this requirement.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service. That includes not using it to break the law, not interfering with or disrupting it, and not attempting to access it in unauthorized ways. You are responsible for the content you collect and for ensuring you have the right to use it.

6. Ownership

The Service, including its code, design, and branding, belongs to us and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Except as needed to use the Service as intended, you may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer it. You retain all rights to the content you personally collect using the Service.

7. The Service is provided "as is"

The Service is provided without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee it will always work, be uninterrupted, or be error-free; third-party sites (including NotebookLM) can change at any time and may affect how it works. You use it at your own risk.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, or for any loss of data.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or discontinue your access to the Service at any time, including if we believe you've violated these Terms. You can stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling it.

10. Price

The Service is currently free. We may introduce paid features in the future; if we do, the terms and pricing for those features will be presented to you before you purchase, and separate terms of sale may apply.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. We will revise the effective date and, for material changes, note them in the extension or on this page. Continued use after changes means you accept them.

12. If a provision doesn't hold

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These Terms are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service, replacing any earlier agreements on the same subject.
